Deepti’s legal journey began in India. Her educational foundation was solidified with a LLB / Juris Doctor degree from the University of Rajasthan. Complementing her legal education, she pursued an MBA in Human Resource Management & Industrial Relations from University Business School, Chandigarh. Her diverse academic background laid the groundwork for a well-rounded legal perspective.

Her work experience in India as an Assistant to a Senior Criminal Defence Lawyer gave Deepti invaluable global insight and perspective into the legal process, trial preparations and applications as well as court appearances that she now shares with clients at Stepper Law. Deepti excels in the field of litigation, deftly overseeing complex litigated cases and adeptly managing questionings, mediations, and chambers applications.

As well as experience and education in Law, Deepti’s portfolio extends to five-plus years in HR Management within Fortune 500 companies, enriching her strategic and legal perspective.

Deepti’s legal dedication extends to volunteering, contributing to organizations such as the Elizabeth Fry Society of Canada and Calgary Legal Guidance.
